Don’t miss your chance to experience a little piece of The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants live! The famous pair of pants that played the magically flattering jeans in the beloved film will be going on a national tour this winter.
This is your chance to get up close and personal with the singular pair of pants worn by the all of the movie’s stars—Blake Lively, America Ferrera, Alexis Bledel, and Amber Tamblyn, none of whom have approved or are involved in this tour.
“The pants are excited to reunite with their biggest fans,” said the pants’ manager, Lou Pearlman. “I can say without hesitation that these pants are ready to be back in the spotlight.”
If you’re in the front row, you might be able to smell the Greek air still emanating from when Alexis shot scenes in the Mediterranean, and see the Mexican sand lining the back pockets from when Blake Lively’s character lost her virginity. “The set list is top secret,” says celebrity choreographer Wade Robson, “but yes, there will be several soccer field numbers.”
VIP ticket holders will each get to try on the pants one at a time, getting 30 seconds to admire how well they fit and 30 seconds to daydream about college.
“My whole life since I saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants has been dedicated to seeing the pants live!” said 31-year-old Sarah Berry, a self-professed pants-head who has camped outside her local Barnes & Noble in Danbury, CT for the past week waiting for her chance to meet the pants. “I’m gonna follow them to every tour stop. If you were a real pants-head back in the day, this is your ultimate dream.”
Jennifer Locke, Stacy Miller, Joy Bernard and Jessie Leonard had an important reason to be meeting the pants. “We’ve been friends for a long time but lately we’ve been fighting more and more often,” said Jennifer. “We hope that if we touch the hem of the pants, our friendship will be made whole again, just like in the books.”
The Danbury Barnes & Noble will open its doors 9am Saturday morning for the event. Check SisterhoodPantsLive.com to see when the pants are coming to a Barnes & Noble near you.
