The Reductress staff, like people all over the internet, is asking ourselves, “what color is this dress?!” Which begs another relevant question – what color lipstick would you wear with it? We’re scratching our heads, questioning our sanity, and placing lipstick after lipstick next to our monitor. The problem is none of us can agree. Here’s what the various camps are coming up with.
If you’re seeing the dress as blue and black like Anna, Emily, and Jessica:
“A blue dress could be complemented well by an orangey coral lip,” says Emily, who sees this dress as blue. Sarah disagrees because this dress doesn’t even look blue to her so she’s more like, “I guess you could wear coral with this but WTF? HOW ARE YOU SEEING IT THAT WAY?!”
If you’re seeing the dress as white and gold like Heidi, Sarah, and Chelsea:
The simple yet glamorous look of a white and gold dress pairs well with a bold lip, IF that’s what you’re seeing! Are you? We can’t agree. If you’re sure, then go with a fire engine red, I guess.
If you’re seeing the dress as white and gold but then sometimes as blue and black like Meredith who we’re never asking about anything again and will probably be fired soon:
WE DON’T KNOW WHAT LIPSTICK TO PAIR. WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOUR EYEBALLS?!!! ARE YOU FUCKING WITH US? BECAUSE PLEASE STOP. THIS DRESS IS RUINING EVERYTHING. WE THOUGHT WE KNEW DRESSES.
