ChatGPT is the new AI tool that’s being utilized everywhere because of its nuanced capabilities to write texts, emails, cover letters, and just about anything else! I’ve personally been using it anytime I don’t want to write something, which is basically every time I have to communicate using the written word, and it’s made my life so simple! However, I did run into some problems when I used ChatGPT to write my wedding vows, but I quickly recovered from this mistake by using it again to write a heartfelt apology to my wife for doing that.
I immediately knew I would have to open ChatGPT back up again when I stood in front of my then-fiancé as well as our family and friends and said, “I love you insert name, and I’ve loved you ever since we met in insert year.” Yeah, I forgot to proofread — classic mistake! But, unfortunately, my wife took it pretty hard. That’s why I’ve been creating several different versions of an apology that will hopefully make her remember why she married me in the first place! Fingers crossed!
With ChatGPT, you really have to tell it exactly what you’re looking for. When I opened the app during our honeymoon, I made sure to enter all of the details of what happened during our ceremony that went wrong: the fact that I said we met on Hinge when we actually had a near-perfect meet-cute in a coffee shop, when I referenced her best friend Gayle who doesn’t actually exist, and when I listed all of my favorite characteristics about her that didn’t really describe her at all. I really messed up when I complimented my brunette wife’s blonde hair and said that I can’t wait to start a family with her, because she told me multiple times throughout our relationship that she doesn’t want children. Well, you live and you learn! The ChatGPT engineers are still working out the kinks.
Even though ChatGPT solves all my problems at work, I guess I have to be more careful when using it for personal things, like the most important event in my life where I share my true feelings in front of everyone who’s important to me. That’s why, when I feed the apologies that the app gives me back into the program, I make sure to check for grammar, spelling, truthfulness, and overall sincerity. It’s amazing what you can do with technology these days!
After some trial and error, I’m confident that the apology ChaptGPT wrote for using ChatGPT to write my wedding vows will definitely save my marriage. And if it doesn’t? Well, then I’ve simply run out of options, and I guess it wasn’t meant to be! Also, I really hope this article makes sense because I also wrote it with ChatGPT.
