Reports indicate that husband Sam Fuller has plans to see yet another Star Wars movie, somehow. This act led his wife, Anita and others to wonder how another Stars Wars movie could possibly have come out since the last Star Wars movie.
“I could’ve sworn he just saw the last Star Wars movie,” explains Anita. “I mean, how many can they possibly make? It feels like they just keep coming.”
Sam has managed to pre-order tickets months before the premiere, presumably while the previous Star Wars film had just come out, we’re pretty sure.
“There are actually only eleven theatrically released movies and three made for TV movies,” explains Sam.
“It feels like I’m stuck in some sort of Groundhog Day scenario,” explains Anita. “Every time I turn around he’s watching a new movie or a Star Wars cartoon, or playing some Star Wars video game.”
“The two animated series are Clone Wars and Rebels,” says Sam. “Clone Wars takes place between Episode 2 & 3, which are the 5th and 6th movies. Rebels takes place between Episode 3 & 4, which are the 6th and 1st movie. And a there’s a third cartoon in that same series that just came out, called Resistance. That takes place between Episodes 6 & 7. Oh and there’s also Forces of Destiny, which is a YouTube show.”
Asked if he ever feels at all overwhelmed by the amount of Star Wars media there is to consume, Sam is unfazed.
“Actually I’ll probably rewatch all the movies in chronological order before Episode IX comes out. That way I can really get amped for the new one.”
“Kill me,” says Anita.
