Is the Print Edition real?
No. Are you insane? Who would read that?! The Print Edition is where we house one-liner jokes. However, we do have a calendar and other stuff that is in print if you really need something to hold in your hands. Keep an eye out for our new book, How to Stay Productive When the World Is Ending, coming out in May 2023.
How many people work for Reductress?
Enough to fit around a very small table on a good day. Or you can just look at our masthead.
Do you pay your writers?
Yes. As of 2022, we pay $50 per written piece and $60 for timely pieces w/quick turnaround. We pay $30 per headline or one-liner and $35 for timely one-liners. Writers must apply in order to pitch to Reductress; if you are not an accepted writer, your pitches will not be read.
Are you owned by a larger company/part of a media organization?
After 9+ years of independent operation, as of August 1, 2022 we are a subsidiary of Phenomenal LLC.
