Every month the box is jam-packed with a variety of useful supplies, including the discarded packaging for climbing tools to make it look like you really went and jumped off that bridge, a book about depression to make it more believable, and a monthly guide on how to throw people off your trail, depending on the manner in which you leave.
“Many of our customers will try to fake a suicide in some way,” says Paris. “And we offer travel guides to countries like the Philipinnes where you can procure forged death certificates. Some people prefer to just vanish into thin air, but whatever it is, we’ve got you covered.”
Every month, the FleeBox includes a fake wig and/or facial hair (you can select your preferred gender when you start the subscription). While some subscribe for only one month before draining their bank account and leaving to head to the Bahamas for an early retirement incognito, others like to subscribe for many months, building up the confidence to never speak to their loved ones ever again.
