Why This Full Moon Is Actually About Me

This month’s full moon occurs on Monday, January 17th at 6:48 pm EST in the sign of Leo. It’s also known as the Wolf Moon, the Old Moon, the Snow Moon, or the Moon after Yule, but here’s why this full moon is actually specifically about me this time.

Even though everyone around the world experiences moon cycles, and thus, the full moon, this time it’s actually way more about me than anyone else because of the intentions that I wrote when the New Moon was happening.

Two weeks ago, I wrote in my manifestation journal that I would be rich, sexy, and also find the love of my life when the full moon happened, and now that it’s here, I’m afraid that everything that happens today is actually going to revolve around those things I just mentioned.

Sorry to everyone else – maybe next month!

My moon and rising signs are also in Leo, which means that I’m actually going to be the most powerful on this day. To be fair, it’ll be pretty powerful for anyone else who has the same placements as me, but my placements are pretty rare, so, marinate in that, if you will.

I’m also not saying that this full moon won’t be important and beautiful in everyone else’s lives too. Of course, when you look up into the sky, you’ll see the breathtaking phenomenon of the large full moon, but I just want to remind you that it’s not really for you as much as it is for me, and that’s just how astrology works!

Some people have tried to tell me that I can’t “claim the full moon” or “gatekeep naturally occurring events,” but frankly, I disagree.

Sure, the moon might simply be a small planetary mass that revolves around the earth, but it’s also so much more than that: it’s a huge part of my identity at this moment in time, and no one can take that away from me.

You can claim the moon when it’s waning gibbous though!

Oh, and I also have dibs on the sun because it’s my planetary ruler, so don’t even fucking think about it.
