Pro stylist Jennifer Barrson was known for helping stars look their best for any event, from awards shows to charity galas. Her untimely passing is devastating to many and she will truly be missed. Given the strange circumstances surrounding her death, we can’t help but wonder: What were her personal go-to everyday makeup products? Well, you’re in for a treat! We got our hands on the late Barrson’s make-up bag (please don’t ask how) and we’re ready to reveal her beauty secrets.
1. Beautycounter Tint Skin Complexion Coverage, $38
This must-have is a lightweight tinted moisturizer that the deceased probably used everyday as a base layer. She most likely appreciated that it was made with all natural ingredients. But how long does it last? Did Barrson have to touch up throughout the day? To find out, you’ll have to try it yourself. Barrson is dead and we can’t ask her.
2. Estée Lauder Cream Concealer, $24
This liquid concealer with a slanted brush applicator is ideal for hiding those under-eye circles we all get from being tired, stressed, or extremely sick. It can also be used to cover blemishes or dark spots. What specifically did Barrson use it for? While we can’t ask her, we can look at pictures of her and try to figure it out. And looking at her nearly flawless skin, we’d say she must have used this concealer quite liberally before her passing!
3. CoverGirl Plush Mascara, Black, $4.12
A discount mascara in a professional makeup artist’s bag?! Could this drugstore staple really be up to snuff? We couldn’t believe it, so we called her friends and family to see if they could shed some light on this mystery. They chose not to.
4. Amoxicillin, 20mg tablets, $0-$600, depending on health insurance
This one really baffled us. Did she take this medicine for its skin-thinning and acne fighting side effects, or was it part of her medical treatment to fight the disease that eventually killed her? You know what, if it helped her get that flawless look, who cares?!
5. NYX Control Freak Eyebrow Gel, $24
We would have never guessed the deceased had messy eyebrows! During her lifetime she hid that well, and it looks like she has NYX to thank for that!
Jennifer Barrson is survived by her husband, mother, father, and three sisters. Services will be held this Saturday afternoon, however her family refused to tell us where.
