Sending Grandma down the path of restorative justice and the end of modern policing was no easy feat, but here we are, sort of: Grandma is now in full support of defunding the police, because a Newton, MA policeman was “very, very rude” when he pulled her over for “no reason at all” one time.
She’s missing a few pieces of the puzzle, but we’ll take it!
“That idiot didn’t know what the hell he was doing – none of them do,” Grandma added. “My friend Donna in Auburndale sees the same two officers sleeping through their shift in their patrol car every night. Why should my taxpayer money be going to that shit?”
Wow! This really wasn’t the angle we were going for, but okay!
“These cops think they run this town, but they don’t,” Grandma continued. “They need to be taken down a peg or two. Especially Sergeant Voss, who can kiss my ass.”
