With Beyoncé announcing her Club Renaissance World Tour on Monday, many fans are thrilled to finally know which dates Queen Bey is coming to their city, especially Georgia Lewis, even though she barely makes enough money to survive, let alone buy $900 tickets for nosebleed stadium seats.
“When I first heard the new album, I knew that I was gonna have to see her live,” Georgia said. “Even though I have no savings and live paycheck-to-paycheck, I’m gonna find a way to make it work.”
Part of the reason that Beyoncé tickets are priced so high is because of the monopoly that Ticketmaster currently has on the concert venues, which they’re being sued for currently. But even though these tickets are obviously only being targeted toward the richest of the rich, Georgia isn’t letting that get her down.
“Knowing Beyoncé, she’ll probably figure out a way to get her loyal fans a discounted ticket price or something,” she said. “…Right?”
Since Beyoncé has announced the tour, Georgia hasn’t even thought about the possibility of not being in attendance.
“I know that this summer I’m going to have the concert-going experience of my entire life,” she told reporters. “I don’t know how I’m gonna get there because I’ve never been this broke in my life, but I’m not going to accept any other reality where it doesn’t happen.”
“Manifestation is everything,” she added. “Which is great for me because I literally have nothing else.”
At press time, Georgia was seen making a Seeking Arrangements account and asking each match she got if they were part of the BeyHive.
