Woman Embarks on Victory Tour After Her Comment Gets More Likes Than the Original Post

This week, 26-year-old Samantha Quinn’s comment on her friend Riley’s Instagram post received more likes than Riley’s original photo, prompting Samantha to embark on a victory tour to celebrate her success and to meet her beloved fans.

Riley posted a photo of herself cozied up on the couch with cup of hot cocoa. The caption reads, “I’m loving these chilly April days…more time with my cozy sweaters.” While the original post got 44 likes, Samantha’s comment, “That’s global warming for you!” received a whopping 53 likes. At first, when Samantha saw her comment ‘blowing up’ she couldn’t believe her eyes.

“I felt totally shocked then immediately humbled,” says Samantha. “The whole experience made me realize I should be traveling around the country giving inspirational speeches and meeting the people who got me here.”

Despite Samantha’s enthusiasm, sources confirm that no one is interested in attending her victory tour.

“Her comment on Riley’s post was funny because it’s what we were all thinking,” says Luke Cerver, one of Riley’s followers. “But I also immediately forgot about it until you reminded me just now.”

“She can relax,” says Monique Denville. “To be honest, I liked her comment because I hate Riley. It’s sort of dumb to celebrate freezing cold days at the end of April and I felt like Samantha was appropriately calling her out. Now Samantha’s traveling around the country holding rallies and signing autographs at malls? What the hell?”

When reached for comment, Riley came forward with her side of the story.

“Oh that comment? I liked it,” says Riley, who quickly forgot about the comment after going home to the delicious dinner her husband had prepared for her.

Sources report that Samantha went home immediately after posting her response so she could chill with her mean cat and keep refreshing her Instagram so she could watch the likes roll in in real time.

Still, Samantha plans on being flown to various cities where her comment did well in order to wave slowly at pedestrians while being driven around in a car.

“People want to put a face to the comment,” says Samantha, now in Portland. “I reminded people that sometimes it’s cold because of climate change, and that reminder is invaluable.”
