A horse is a horse, except when it isn’t – in the case of this adorable Shetland pony named Kaitlin, she’s been a total human girl!
“Kaitlin has loved having her hair braided ever since she was a little pony,” says her owner and bestie, Lauren Paul. “And getting her hooves painted, just like all the human girls.”
On any given Saturday, Kaitlin can be seen prancing around her yard listening Ariana Grande and making lists of cute boy ponies in her head.
“She’s such a flirt,” says Lauren. “I was trying to get her out of her stall the other day while Tyler was next door being brushed and she just kept whinnying and running away from me like it was a game, while Tyler pretended not to watch.”
Kaitlin’s favorite treats are apples, carrots and Starburst, but she really only eats the pink ones. And one time she tried a lick of Lauren’s coffee, which she thinks is gross.
“Kaitlin likes giving little kids rides because she’s trying to get a job as a neighborhood babysitter,” says Lauren. “I haven’t told her that the parents around here don’t really think she’s ready though.”
“She’s also been begging me to let her dye her mane.”
