Cultural Critic? This Woman Is Mean

In a story that’s taking the journalism community by storm, 25-year-old Greta Miller has been deemed the hottest new cultural critic on the scene, which she accomplished solely by consistently being mean about other people.

Okay, tastemaker!

When asked about her remarkable new career, Greta surprisingly remained relatively humble.

“I kind of just fell into it,” she told reporters while drafting a Tweet about why Ariana Grande “just isn’t giving anymore.” “But I guess you could say I have lots of experience under my belt. I’ve been consistently making fun of people since I was about 15 years old. Who knew that I could have an entire career built off of having a bad attitude?”

We had no idea!

While Greta’s cultural criticism mainly regards the current pop culture icons in the United States, her biting takes have also extended to many other areas, such as people only her and her friends know.

“She had especially a lot to say about this girl who we work with named Jennifer,” Greta’s former coworker Yasha said. “We had a lot of conversations about how she was super rude and entitled in the workplace, but Greta also connected her behavior to a variety of literary passages and connections to U.S. history that really left me with a whole new perspective on the situation. She’s gifted, for sure.”

Despite Greta’s commentary and criticism being mostly primarily delivered orally or through impulsive Twitter threads, she has been pushed to publish some of her criticism for the world to see.

“My friends have told me that I should make a Substack or pitch my stories to magazines,” Greta said. “But I feel like it kind of weakens the art form, to be honest. I believe the best cultural criticism happens right in the moment because pop culture is so fleeting. I also don’t want any of my opinions to be directly traced back to me.”

So true, girl! What’s in the past is in the past!

As of press time, Greta had been diligently working on her next piece of cultural criticism, informing reporters that it will focus on the “bitch who cut [her] off on the freeway yesterday morning.”
