10am Conference Call Really Sneaking Up on Woman in Her 15th Hour of Sleep

The Gender Spectrum Collection

After a busy night smoking weed and binging Love Island until passing out at 7:15 pm, Katie Howard’s unreasonably early morning conference call is really starting to sneak up on her now.

“It’s just so crazy to have a conference call at 10 in the morning,” says Katie. “It’s like, I barely have time to make coffee and get myself together.”

Katie is wondering what kind of Type-A freak would schedule a meeting as early as 10 am PST on a Wednesday when she has only slept for roughly 14-and-a-half hours.

“It’s just not healthy,” Katie adds. “People need to sleep in order to do their job.”

While coworkers with children at home saw the 10 am call as “honestly a little late in my workday”, Katie is wondering if she’ll even have time to shower and make a full breakfast before this phone call.

“I’m totally wiped out,” Katie says. “I can’t even imagine what it’d be like if I had a dog, or literally anything else to do in life right now.”

“Hopefully I can squeeze in a nap or something later.”
