Woman Has No Idea She Is the Reason Couple Can’t Use Her Name for Their Baby

In a developing story out of St. Louis, MI, local woman Kendall Holmes has no idea that she is the sole reason why a couple she knows can’t use her name for their soon-to-be-born baby.

“We love the name Kendall,” expecting mother Joseline Nnadi said. “But just saying the name evokes everything we don’t like about this one acquaintance we have.”

“She’s just a total mess,” Joseline’s husband, George, added. “And neither of us want our daughter to be remotely like her when she grows up.”

We were also able to reach out to Kendall to hear about her insight into the dilemma.

“Oh, yeah, I heard that they were having a baby!” Kendall told us. “I’m so happy for them! Even though they stopped talking to me when I showed up way too drunk at Joseline’s birthday and kind of blacked out and got kicked out of the bar for trying to make out with the bartender. That night was so fun though! I’d love to hang out again sometime.”

According to George and Joseline, they view their “friendship” very differently.

“I had to clean up all of her puke on my own birthday,” Joseline said. “And now whenever I think of the name ‘Kendall’ I think of projectile vomit and an extreme lack of self-awareness. It’s a shame, because it’s a really good baby name otherwise.”

When asked if she thought something might be wrong between them, Kendall didn’t seem to know what we were talking about.

“We message each other all the time,” Kendall said. “Well, now that I think about it, it’s just me replying to her stories and her not responding. But I know what we have together is really special. We go way back!”

“We’ve never really liked her that much,” Joseline told us. “I’ve never liked her energy, even from the first time we met, and I refuse to let my daughter share a name with her.”

At press time, Joseline and George are deciding between the names Kate, Kyle, or Kandi, and Kendall reportedly still wishes them the best, even though her texts don’t seem to be going through.
