This Woman Does Shroom Therapy to Find Nirvana Then Throw Up

34-year-old Miranda Forrest started a unique psychedelic mushroom therapy with her intention being to find nirvana, then throw up immediately after. She has dedicated the next seven weeks to taking incremental doses of shrooms to “ease her mind and settle her spirit,” even though they won’t settle her stomach.

Miranda is barfing her way to nirvana!

One of the potential side effects of shrooms is nausea followed by vomiting – a side effect Miranda is willing to endure for a chance at emotional freedom.

Miranda explained, “My highs are so beautiful, almost heavenly. The psilocybin unlocks something deep in my soul. It must unlock something deep in my guts too, because right after nirvana, that’s when the retching begins.”

Yes, girl! Spill your guts!

There is no guarantee that a shrooms trip will be a “good” experience. The experience can vary from person to person and can be influenced by a variety of factors. For Miranda, no matter where or how she shrooms, she is always sick to her stomach.

“The shroom experience really symbolizes life on earth, both good and bad,” she said. “There is a deep wonder that comes with tripping, then there is the scary afterbirth where my lunch is spewed across the room via my mouth.”

Miranda is so brave for admitting that. Slay, Miranda!

Shroom therapies can be quite intense, but bad trips and tummy aches are best handled by a professional, like shroom guru Darcy Potakin.

“Mushrooms are a beautiful complex plant, they are able to heal, but they are also able to haunt,” Darcy told reporters. “They are definitely haunting Miranda. Every time she shrooms she projectiles and I can’t stop it. It’s like a geyser. I even recommended she stop taking shrooms until she figures out how to keep them down.”

Despite her guru’s pleas, Miranda doesn’t plan on slowing down her shroom therapy anytime soon.

“I won’t stop shrooms!” she said. “Nothing gives me the same feeling of euphoria and bliss, even if what follows is so foul. It’s fine that I blow chunks nonstop — it’s all a part of the shroom journey.”

Miranda is finding herself through the mess!

While shrooms can be a tummy turner, for Miranda the therapeutic effects outweigh the shroom sickness.

“Yeah, the vomiting sucks, but I have such a better mind-body relationship now,” she said. “My only complaint is that the ripeness of the mushrooms is rank and it tastes worse coming up, so now my mouth kind of always tastes like that.”

If you’re looking for a psychedelic therapy, try shrooms! But be warned: just like your mind, your stomach might not ever be the same.
