With pencil skirts, blouses, and kitten heels taking the runway by storm this fashion week, “business-core” has been the word on everyone’s lips. But how can you make this new office-chic trend your very own? By wearing only a briefcase, of course! Here’s how:
Hold it.
You can never go wrong with a classic. After all, why reinvent the wheel when you can just wear nothing except a briefcase in your hand? Everyone will be gagging at your bold, new, updated office wear! Plus, even though you’ll be naked, you can still leave some things to the imagination, like what exactly is in the briefcase.
Put it on like a shoe.
If you want to get a little more creative, try putting one or two of your feet in your briefcase and walking around like that! Briefcases are so versatile that you can even wear one as a dress! Just climb inside of it, get a friend to close it while you’re inside, and then get that same friend to carry you around town with them. Passersby may not be able to tell that you’re banging around inside of it, but whenever you need a bathroom break, everyone will gasp at your bold new fashion statement.
So, if you want to take part in the new business-core trend, but only have room in your closet for one small thing, wearing a briefcase and a briefcase alone is, by far, the best way to serve on your commute to work. Also, if you want to accessorize, try holding a pen!
