Five Foods That Keep You Fit and Might Prevent Pregnancy?

You may be trying to prevent getting pregnant, but birth control is expensive. You may also be trying to lose weight. So we’ve found five fantastic foods that will keep you fit and (fingers crossed) might also prevent pregnancy. No promises, though. So get to sexin’, keep that belly flat, and maybe not get pregnant with THESE foods:

1. Apples
Apples are so delish and nutrish that they might as well be medicish. An apple a day keeps the doctor away, right? Um, hello? Obstetricians are doctors too! So, really, we can with limited confidence semi-assure you that an apple a day also keeps the babies away. From your womb. Don’t take our word for it though.

2. Kale
Kale is a superfood; it does it all, from stuffing you full of vitamins to lowering your cholesterol. This high-fiber, low-carb wonder keeps you from developing your own pouch…be it fatty or fetal. There are so many benefits to eating kale, so we’re hoping that one of those benefits is defending our eggs from the dreaded sperm armies. Let us know how that one goes!

3. Cocoa
Pure cocoa can actually help prevent heart disease. And certain ancient shamans believe it might also prevent pregnancy. Do antioxidants prevent pregnancy? I mean, cocoa is so tasty, so wouldn’t that be rad if it could?

4. Quinoa
Everyone says this stuff is good for you. It tastes like air, so they’re probably right. There’s a decent chance that eating quinoa will keep your eggs unfertilized every month, because my slutty friend eats a lot of it and still isn’t pregnant!

5. Garlic
Garlic is said to prevent cancer and the formation of fat cells, so it’s probably able to prevent the formation of baby cells, right? I mean, how hard can it be if it’s already preventing cancer? Seriously. But not seriously, because we’re just guessing here. But if you shed your uterine lining next month, you can possibly thank garlic!

Try these healthy foods to get that healthy glow but not that pregnancy glow!
