In an inspiring story that highlights the importance of curating your own experience of life, 26-year-old Georgia Singh spends her entire day combining uppers and downers in different combinations to get her exactly where she needs to go, vibe-wise.
“Well, I start every morning by taking my Wellbutrin and having a nice cup of coffee,” Georgia told reporters gathered at the scene. “So there’s a couple of uppers right off the bat. Then, I take my daily Adderall to treat my ADHD. It’s a pretty strong showing for the uppers in the morning.”
Georgia coasts off these uppers as she sets out to tackle the day, but sometimes, it can all be too much.
“If I find myself getting anxious at work for seemingly no reason — likely due to the cavalcade of uppers — I’ll take a half of a Xanax or something similar just to level me out,” she continued extremely casually, as if Xanax was not a controlled substance. “It’s just so necessary to keep me from being too hyper.”
When Georgia hits the “midday slump,” however, it’s back to the uppers to keep her going.
“Around 3 or 4pm, when I start to get tired, I’ll have a Diet Coke or other caffeinated product to bring me back from the brink,” she continued. “Those last couple of hours of the workday are a real slog unless I’m altering my state of consciousness via stimulants.”
Once Georgia is off work, however, it’s straight to the downers.
“I want to relax and unwind as soon as possible, so I’ll have a drink or two just to kick off the night,” she continued, seemingly having lost track of how many substances she’d consumed at this point. “And if I’m having a night out with my girls, maybe I’ll smoke a little bit of weed, too, to really alter my consciousness.”
To avoid getting too tired, Georgia confirms she’ll have a cigarette or two on these nights out, such that she can keep going until 3am.
“Then I’ll head home and pop a quick melatonin just to make sure I can get quality sleep,” she continued, as if this were simply a matter of healthy living. “Sleep is just so important.”
As of press time, Georgia’s heart rate is sitting at a very concerning 90 beats per minute.
