No-Equipment Exercises for Your No-Progress Workouts

Exercising regularly is extremely important for both your mind and body, but if you’re stuck at home with no equipment it can be hard to know where to start. That’s why we’ve compiled some of the best no-equipment exercises that might do something for you, but only if you do them correctly and consistently, which you surely won’t. So keep reading for the perfect exercises for your no-progress workouts!

Burpees

Want to relive your middle school P.E. trauma for little to no results? Then 10-12 burpees are the perfect exercise to get that heart pounding, and that’s pretty much it! Simply do a push-up, jump up, and repeat until you’re just really tired after not feeling any of your muscles working as hard as they could in an actual gym. Plus, no one is watching you so you could just…stop.

Planks

Holding a plank for 60 seconds or more is a great way to work out your abs, but not as good as using weights to make the routine a lot faster, easier, and more productive. Good on you for trying, though! It’s a nice place to start!

Bicycle Crunches

Bicycle crunches are a great ab workout if you do them with the right form, but after four or five reps you’ll be all over the place and just kind of straining your neck. We know the person you saw doing them had a six-pack, but that’s from the other exercises they’re doing.

Jump Squats

If you aren’t satisfied with doing regular squats, try being even more disappointed by doing jump squats! They’re just like regular squats (which don’t seem to do anything for you), but with a jump after every one (which also won’t do anything for you)!

Any of these exercises are easy to do at home, they don’t require any equipment, and they probably won’t help you make any progress at all. So feel free to mix it up and do all of them during your workouts, not to tone your body evenly or anything, but just if you’re like bored or something! Also, you should probably just get some weights!
