Israel Government Officials Claim That Palestine Actually Occupied Itself

Following the statements from Israel’s Prime Minister, President, and Minister of Defense that suggest all Palestinian people deserve to be bombed by Israeli forces, Israeli officials have doubled down and now claim that Palestinians are also responsible for forcefully occupying their own land.

After he stated that Palestinian civilians are involved with Hamas and could have “risen up” and “fought against them in a coup d’etat” if they were actually against the group, Israeli President Isaac Herzog has now claimed that Palestinians are responsible for their own apartheid as well.

“If they were really so opposed to us air striking them, why would they let us take their land from them in the first place?” Herzog told reporters. “Obviously, they can only blame themselves for what happened, and now they have to suffer the consequences. You reap what you sow!”

Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has now deleted his tweet that read, “This is a struggle between the children of light and the children of darkness, between humanity and the law of the jungle,” but he later circled back to this sentiment by saying that Israel has never done anything wrong and they should be able to completely level Gaza and the innocent civilians who live there.

“We have the right to eliminate Hamas and every child that may get in our way,” Netanyahu said at his latest press conference. “Because we’ve always had the best intentions for the last 75 years. The Palestinians on the other hand? They obviously occupied their own land themselves. Israel would never do something like that.”

This week, Israeli forces have launched hundreds of air strikes on Gaza, killing more than 3,400 Palestinians and injuring more than 12,000 others. These attacks, along with Israel cutting off food, water, electricity, medicine and fuel from Gaza, have caused civilians to run dangerously low on basic necessities, but Israeli Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant seems to think that the Palestinian people brought this tragedy onto themselves.

After Gallant made a public remark saying, “We are imposing a complete siege on Gaza. No electricity, no food, no water, no fuel. Everything is closed. We are fighting human animals, and we will act accordingly,” the Israeli Minister of Defense further elaborated on why the Israel-Palestine conflict is basically just the Palestine-Palestine conflict.

“Everyone knows that we’re the good guys and they’re the bad guys.” Gallant told the press. “Obviously, the only reason why Gaza civilians live in one of the most densely populated places on earth is because they like it that way. I mean, they could leave anytime they want!”

When asked about where these civilians could go, the Minister of Defense declined to comment.
