Gertrude Cole has taken her love of Rihanna’s beauty line Fenty to the next level by melting down the products and injecting them directly into her veins. Talk about inner beauty!
“I just couldn’t get enough of the Galaxy Eye Shadow Palette,” Gertrude explains as she fills an IV bag filled with liquefied Fenty products. “I mean, 14 celestial-inspired colors? Yes please!”
With the ease of a nurse practitioner, Gertrude casually disinfects her arms, prepares the catheter and inserts the needle into her vein before securing the IV with two pieces of tape.
“I’ve been wanting to try the Match Stix Shimmer Skinstick in lilac for the longest time,” shares Gertrude excitedly as she fills the bag up with a solution of dextrose, water and that gorg purple Fenty lipstick. “Finally, the day has come!”
Despite Gertrude’s genuine love of Riri’s brand, her friends have expressed some concern.
“The other day, she told me I have to try the Cosmic Gloss Lip Glitter, so I expected her to pass me a tube of gloss,” shares Kathleen Damar, Gertrude’s roommate. “But then she just injected it directly into her veins and had this tremendous wave of calm come over her. She really loves Fenty.”
Gertrude’s boyfriend agrees with Kathleen when it comes to his girlfriend’s Fenty obsession.
“When she wakes up, she says, ‘Don’t look at me until I put on my face,’ then fills her IV up with Fenty Pro-filtr Soft Matte Longwear foundation,” says Luke Wayne. “It’s definitely disturbing.”
Way to march to the beat of your own drum, Gertrude!
After discovering a customer was injecting Fenty products into her bloodstream, Sephora came out with an official statement:
“While it is our policy not to comment, the health and safety of our clients is our foremost priority. We take this very seriously and urge the client to apply the makeup topically, as instructed.”
You go, Gertrude!
