Frugal Queen! Woman Who Spent Entire Paycheck at Sephora Didn’t Stop for Little Treat on Way Home

In a quick trip to Sephora last week, 23-year-old Teresa Beauchamp spent hundreds of dollars on new makeup and skincare. After that, this frugal goddess bravely walked right past Starbucks in order to save the money she no longer had.

This queen knows how to save!

“Sometimes you have to treat yourself, so I bought everything I wanted at Sephora,” Teresa told reporters. “I know it seems financially irresponsible to spend all of my earnings there, but it was cost effective because I didn’t even get a cake pop or latte on the way home.”

Save that money, sis!

Teresa brought in quite the haul of beauty products, buying two new cleansers, an eye shadow palette, and 10 lip glosses. However, she also managed to save $13.43 by not stopping for a little snack.

“I got a new face wash that starts as a gel then turns into a cream then turns into a face mask and it was only 160 bucks!” she said. “And I was able to afford it because I’m not paying my electric bill this month.”

Okay, Budget Baddie!

Teresa says she only makes large purchases if she can guarantee that she will avoid a small purchase later. Even though Teresa is a super spender at Sephora, that doesn’t mean she doesn’t take her finances seriously.

“Let’s get real about money: It comes and goes,” she said. “The best way to hold on to your money is to not stop for little goodies on your way home. You could save five percent of your income if you ditched the little unnecessary purchases like candy bars and Diet Coke.” Teresa then paused to apply her $60 Dior lip gloss.

“I save money by skipping out on the little pleasures in life like coffee and Wi-Fi. I’m super realistic about my finances. I know how happy a new perfume will make me feel so I choose to invest in myself.”
