Wow! This Woman Got A Job In The Same Field She Majored In

Amanda Pell has shocked friends and family by securing a  job as a nurse after pursuing a bachelor of science degree in the very same thing.

Wow! We had no idea this was possible!

“I just always liked science and helping people,” says Pell. “So it made sense. I enjoyed my courses and I’m glad there is a demand for good people in the field .”

Whoa, what?! Sorry – we have no idea what that’s like!

It’s widely known that close to zero percent of people pursue careers in the same field that they majored in, while up to three percent of graduate students find work in their field as long as they really network.

“Immediately getting a job related to your major simply isn’t done these days,” said Edmund Philips, a job recruiter based out of Secaucus, NJ. “Most people major in something random, then get whatever random shitty job they can get just out of college, before realizing what they actually want to do and sneaking their way into that field or going back to school for another degree. It’s why most resumes are a fucking mess, honestly.”

Amanda’s friends and family remain bewildered by this feat.

“It’s so weird that Amanda found her calling so early,” says friend Kiara Williamson. “Like who could’ve predicted what they wanted to do with their life at 17, and continued wanting it all the way through college?! Only this bitch, is who.”

Asked whether she has any regrets or concerns about her future, Pell remains optimistic.

“I really like what I do. The only reason I’d go back to school is if I want to gain more specialized nursing skills or become a Nurse Practitioner.”

Um, wow! Okay!
