Area Woman Stays Shaved in Case She Is Assaulted

Taking time out of her busy schedule, Natalie Bishop makes sure she is clean-shaven every morning in the rare case that she is sexually assaulted. “I try to be considerate to men’s needs,” says Bishop, “and I won’t put aside that consideration just because the man in question is a rapist.”

While Bishop hopes she never falls victim to sexual assault, she simply cannot give up the practice she’s maintained since the age of sixteen. “I just want him to have a decent time and I wouldn’t want him to regret picking me.”

However, Natalie’s considerate nature comes with a price; shaving daily has been extremely taxing on her skin, causing razor burn and ingrown hairs. “I know I’ll probably have to give it up at some point, but I don’t want to be offensive in any way, should a man deign to rape me.”

In a recent development, Bishop is now considering laser hair removal and has not yet been raped.
