Barbie Claims She Just Gets Along Better with Kens

Recently, Barbara Millicent Roberts, also known as the beloved childhood doll Barbie, was overheard telling a friend that she “just gets along better with Kens.”

“It’s not like I don’t like women,” said Barbie, a fashion model and astronaut. “It’s just that Kens are so much less drama and way more chill to hang out with.”

Barbie, whose many iterations strive to reflect all young women, went on to explain why she just finds Kens more relatable.

“I’m fortunate enough to get to live all of my dreams,” said Barbie, who owns a Corvette and a dream house. “So, in the past, hanging with girls has just lead to jealousy, and that’s not for me. Kens are more low-maintenance, like me.”

“I guess I’m just not such a girly girl,” added the doll, whose feet can only fit into high heels. “Sometimes I just wanna sit around and watch football, you know?”

Barbie’s female friends have mixed feelings about the situation.

“Barbie seems a little bit delusional,” said Teresa, a longtime friend. “Like, she claims she’s just not a girly girl, but she’s the girliest person I know! It feels like she’s just saying this stuff to get more attention from Kens?”

“Yeah, I don’t really understand where this is all coming from,” added Christie, another friend of more than a decade. “I guess after years of catering to the dreams and goals of young girls, she just needs a little male approval.”

But Barbie doesn’t quite see it that way.

“Look, all I’m saying is that Kens and I are just more compatible,” she said. “I don’t see why that’s such a controversy.”
